In Surrey we encourage young people to be involved in shaping the service delivery that directly affects them.
Surrey Youth Development Service has made a pledge to involve young people in the consultation and decision making processes which will inform the future of the County.
Monies have become available from the Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) and Youth Capital Fund (YCF) for all young people living in Surrey between the ages of 13 to 19. The Funds have been set up to empower young people to have a greater say in the provision of facilities in their neighbourhoods. The focus is on encouraging disadvantaged young people to apply for funding to participate in things to do and places to go.
